We started 2024 determined to purchase smaller art work by the 4 Japanese Artists whose work we loved for a long time. We went on an Art buying trip to Japan in spring 2024, intent on bring back artwork in our suitcase. A few days before arriving in Japan we reached out to five artists studios on our list, directly or via there galleries. Three got back to us, but only Ito Chiekosan actively aided us in purchasing her work. She was very prompt and timely in her communication which made the process much easer. Of course the work we selected was the largest she had available. We were not able to arrange to see the artwork in Japan before purchasing it but we have no regrets. The work is phenomenal in person! This artist is incredibly talented and a excellent agent for her work. She made the purchase process very smooth and fair for us.
